Plenty of Fish ♥️ TYM2THRIVE | FEB 2024

Our thoughts can be manifestations, such that when you believe something to be true then your subconscious mind will find ways to create that reality for you. Have you ever had the thought of doing something or going somewhere and seemingly without any effort on your own part you ended up doing that thing or going to that place? Well, when that happens people usually refer to it as a blessing. An unexpected event that worked out in your favor yet seemingly designed for your benefit. We can lend this kind of occurrence to a level of Spiritual Awareness and certainly enjoy the moments. There was such an occurrence for me personally before the end of 2023 as a prayer was answered for me.

At the beginning of the summer I put it out into the Universe that I wanted to be on a boat before the end of the year. I was reminiscing about some fun times I had while living in Puerto Rico and wanted to create an experience in the present.

Well, before the end of the summer I was on a boat 🚤…but it wasn’t what I expected. I was cleaning it. 🤦🏽‍♀️LOL, a blessing nonetheless but not what I had in mind. Oh and yes I’m an amazing boat cleaner… skills gained after surviving Hurricane Maria, during recovery 😉.

So anyway, I went back to be more direct and specific. This time I wanted to be on a boat on the water 🌊. So, low and behold I was invited on a fishing trip. I’d been before with my cousins as a kid but they only let me cut the bate, gushy worms 🪱. This time I got the rod and reel. And 🤩🤯 I caught 4 fish 🐠 🐠🐠🐠🎣 ( no boots… 🤣). I threw them all back because they were too small and I didn’t want to clean them up.

Presently I’m at a point in life where I’m spending some much needed and well deserved alone time 💆🏽‍♀️🧘🏽 but I want you to know that if you’re searching for a partner in life and having a tough time finding what you’re looking for, be sure to go back and ask specifically for what you need and want. Do the work to prepare yourself to receive it cause when it shows up you won’t have time to get ready. Trust that there are plenty of fish in the sea and you can throw back the ones that aren’t mature enough to take home.
